Conference Borders, Margins, Cartographies: Transnational Modernist Women’s Writing on 4–5 October in Tartu

On 4–5 October 2024, the Institute of Foreign Languages and Cultures of the University of Tartu holds a two-day conference “Borders, Margins, Cartographies: Transnational Modernist Women’s Writing”. The main organisers are Eret Talviste (UT) and Ruth Alison Clemens (Leiden University). The invited keynote speakers are Jessica Berman and Rosi Braidotti. From the Literature Centre, Merlin Kirikal will present a paper on Alma Ostra’s (1886–1960) and Sophia Vardi’s (1883–1940) feminist rewritings of decadence.
